It may help evaluate:During an exercise stress test, you walk on a treadmill or use a stationary bicycle while your heart rate, blood pressure and ECG are monitored. The level of exercise is gradually increased according to your ability and medical condition.
The test is stopped when the target level is reached, symptoms develop or the medical team determines that it should be stopped. Your doctor will explain the results and recommend further evaluation if required.

You may be advised to avoid heavy meals, caffeine or certain medicines before the test, depending on your doctor's instructions. Wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for exercise.
